Use this process to request public tax records and other Foundation information approved for release.
1. Documents subject to public inspection
Applicable federal law requires tax-exempt organizations to make certain tax documents available for public inspection, including the approved exemption application and supporting materials and annual information returns for the applicable disclosure period. Certain contributor information and other protected information may be withheld as permitted by law.
2. Website publication
The Foundation may satisfy access by publishing documents online or may provide inspection or copies in response to a valid request. Not every internal governance, personnel, donor, security, privileged, draft, or operational record is a public record.
3. Request method
Email info@embajadoresinternational.org with your name, contact information, and a reasonably specific description of the requested document. Do not request donor identities or confidential personal information.
4. Response and costs
The Foundation will review the request, confirm whether the material is subject to inspection or approved for release, and provide access within a reasonable period. Reasonable copying and mailing charges may apply when permitted.
5. Current status
Articles of Incorporation, IRS determination records, annual filings, adopted bylaws, annual reports, and approved public policies will be added to the Transparency Center as they are prepared for publication.
